Liverpool was voted European centre of culture in 2008 and has a history of being one of the United Kingdom’s most vibrant Cities with a huge variety when it comes to shopping and brilliant restaurants. Located in the very heart of Liverpool is Liverpools biggest shopping area, St John’s which is wonderful for those people looking for a great shopping experience. There is also a new large shopping centre the Met Quarter and Liverpool one which is over flowing with anything you could want on a buying expedition.
Manchester restaurants are some of the tastiest in the country, and when it comes to retail therapy you might well be rubbing elbows with WAG’s in the top fashion stores of New Cathedral Street and Exchange Square. The variety of Manchester restaurants is brilliant with fantastic Italian Restaurants, Chinese restaurants, Indian Restaurants, Tai Restaurants and all restaurants in between. The huge Traford Centre is a brilliant area to shop with over 280 shops, 38 restaurants, 20 screen cinema and excellent leisure resources.
There are several flights in and out of Liverpool and Manchester Area making the trip a fast and simple destination to reach and enjoy. Although personally I just hope that the plane has the correct underwater escape lighting.
If you love retail therapy it is worth making a journey to these brilliant cities as they will provide you with a fantastic time out in cities that provide for the discerning shopper. The buildings and history of Liverpool and Manchester is stimulating with many fascinating facts to be found in particular museums and historical tours. And with the Beatles coming out of Liverpool, there are many sites to look out for of musical significance.
I love going to these areas as they are fantastic for ideas and inspiration and even if you just go for a walk round some excellent food and an evenings entertainment you wont be unhappy.
